Our Story
Mia's Silk Collection started with a simple idea: hair accessories that are actually good for your hair. Every scrunchie, headband, and sleep mask we make is 100% silk — hand-cut and hand-sewn in San Francisco, in limited quantities.
We work with two kinds of silk. Our mulberry silk comes from Hangzhou, China, historically known as China's "Silk Capital." We also offer pieces in Xiangyunsha (cloud silk), a rare heritage fabric from Foshan, Guangdong, hand-dyed using a centuries-old process and recognized on China's National List of Intangible Cultural Heritage.
Because so many of our fabrics come from limited-quantity lengths, once a print sells out, it may not come back — so what you see is genuinely one of a kind.
