Emerald Botanical Xiangyun Silk Scrunchie (40 Momme)
Details
Emerald botanical print, heritage cloud silk. A statement piece with a rich, structured drape.
Made from Xiangyunsha (also called Gambiered Guangdong Silk, or "cloud silk") at a substantial 40 momme — a deep green silk with blue-teal undertones and warm floral accents. Xiangyunsha has a distinct hand: more structured and textured than mulberry silk, with a crisp, substantial feel rather than mulberry's soft slip.
Handmade in San Francisco in limited quantities — each piece is individually cut and sewn, so floral placement varies slightly from piece to piece.
